a night with the oscars

luckily our friends know how to throw a great time. like: 

hey, lets throw a party while watching the Oscars! 

we can even make bingo cards! and hand-stamp them!

and make more food than anyone could possibly finish! 

(and make it all so yummy that we get sick gorging ourselves!) 

and cut out a billion tiny little words to tape on the wall, 

so it's really like a red carpet...

and print out fancy invites, and everyone can come in their 

fanciest red carpet apparel! 

i'm just either lazy or boring, probably both, because that is a lot of creative juices and work... but it turned out soo fun! watching the oscars with our friends was a really fun evening, and did i mention the good food? sometimes i'm amazed with how good of party-throwers some people can be. maybe one day.... 

but honestly it was fun to steal high school prom dresses from my sisters and wear my wedding earrings again. also, buying a bow-tie for the husband at ross and $8 DI "fancy" shoes was fun too. he's a really handsome date, and i felt really lucky all night. life is fun, and happy.
