more mushy stuff

as most of you (the few that follow every post) know, i'm a little obsessed with my love story. as every girl believes, i too believe that my story is a fairytale. i met my prince charming, we were separated for a short time, then he waltzed back into my life and we lived happily ever after. this post pretty much goes along those same lines... so if you're sick of that stuff, this is your cue to exit now.

but for MY personal records, i don't want to ever forget how much i loved being a newlwed-ish every single day, and i want to remember the small things.
like tonight, it was drake's turn for fhe. our family nights are usually sporadicly spaced from week to week, but tonight was a hall-of-famer. drake gave a quick lesson on the importance of documenting our memories (like journals or keepsakes) and he related that to the gospel and the Book of Mormon, which is essentially a book of records of the ancient BOM people. he got his old suitcase from the mission which is now stuffed with our memories and keepsakes. some are his from the mission, there are lots and lots of pictures from the past seven years, signed baseballs, books and poems i made him while in high school, and journals. it was a really good lesson connecting the importance of documentation to our lives, and it also was very sentimental. we took a trip down memory lane together and that was really fun and i was overcome with nostalgia. drake won my heart over with his cheesiness back when we were young teenagers, and i luckily saved most of that stuff. he even had a journal entry or two about me... shocking, i know!
i've got myself quite the romantic.
again for the thousandth time, i feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
