after multiple weekends travelling back and forth from idaho, we finally spent a weekend together in provo, in our apartment. weekends like this are perfect. on saturday mornings i usually always make breakfast. after waking up, drake informs me we're all out of milk, but he really wanted waffles. after a few minutes of begging, i convinced him to go to the grocery store (instead of me for once!) and get a few groceries. i hate grocery shopping now, and it was a nice treat. when he got home (with a surprise breakfast he brought home and a redbox) i made a batch of waffles to freeze for the weekday mornings and then we settled into a movie. cuddle time with the hubby is a perfect start to our saturday. then, while i cleaned and did some laundry, he played video games. of course. but... then we played Just Dance on our wii and then added some games to our Mario Sluggers tournament. who doesn't love some baseball with mario characters? even i enjoy it! and especially because it's a video game we do together. it was a great time. the day ended with taco soup and chips to our favorite shows.
sunday continued in similar great fashion and i've reflected on how happy i am in my life right now. i am married to a handsome, hardworking, fun-loving guy who makes me laugh every day. we play together, we laugh together, we'll stay together :) we share the gospel and similar goals for our future. we are happy. i wish this happiness for everyone in the world! happy thoughts for sunday.
