so, we like idaho

yet another weekend spent in the bitter cold of idaho.

this time, dassia and cinta were playing in a district playoff game and we just had to be there! we'll definitely miss all the games during the week, so a saturday game was just too tempting.

before we could travel anywhere, turns out we needed a new tire. no, not the tire that had a leak from a screw... that one was patched up quickly... another tire was dangerously near it's death, so i took the car and spent that $100 on a tire. ouch. being poor college students is rough when stuff like that comes up.

it was full weekend of fun with our families. dassia cut my hair! yeah, that was a little scary, and a lot had to come off because a lot of it was dead... but it feels amazing. for some reason, i trust dassia and her perfectionist tendencies when it comes to chopping my hair. she normally cuts her mom and cinta's hair, so what's not to trust, right? well, however she does it, she does an amazing job! (speaking of sweet dassia, she only applied to BYU-I and BYU right here in provo... we would really, really, REALLY loved that girl to live here!) then, cinta dyed my hair and viola a free appointment and it turned out amazing! i love those girls!

then, we watched them win their game. they head to the district championship tonight! we love watching them play! i've never been agressive or competitive, so playing sports usually didn't match up well with my personality, however, these girls have got that spunk. wow- they're tough and strong and very competitive. what's so surprising and awesome, is they're also the sweetest people! dassia would do anything for anyone and cinta is so nurturing! i'm lucky to have those two for forever! after the game, we hurried to watch jessica dance at ISU then spent the night with my family.
the next morning after church, i couldn't help myself from driving to soda to see kimmie and her baby, kayzie! she is absolutely the most beautiful baby and i love her soooo much already. she is perfectly tiny and strong, with big blue eyes that are getting lighter and lighter and lots of hair. man, i loved getting a few hours with her all to myself. what a sweet, sweet baby!

Superbowl 2013

finally, it was time for the superbowl. i didn't care who won, and drake just didn't want the 49ers to win, so we cheered for the ravens. everyone in my house did, actually. it was a crazy game with a 34 minute blackout, which ended up helping the 49ers make a close game, but the ravens won making my house a happy place to be. there was awesome food and perfect company. it was a fantastic weekend, for sure!
