all of a sudden, i realized that zenna is due to arrive in only five weeks, and i freaked out. but then, i realized i was born three weeks early... so she has the potential to come much earlier and i freaked out again. i am so ready to hold her already! mostly this week has been fairly the same as most the others. a little bit of swelling, a little bit of pain trying to roll over at night, and some more exhaustion is starting to set it, but basically i'm still so grateful to be feeling so good! my baby shower was this week and it was so great. we both got spoiled big time and i can't wait for my "playing house" daydreams to become a reality!
week 36:
officially at 9 months! too bad the end is actually at 10 months, not 9! my belly is continuing to increase in size, lumpiness, and crookedness. at my last appointment, the doctor found her head down near the birth canal, bum up high just below my left ribs, with her back arched on the left side, and hands and feet all out towards the right side. this felt pretty dang accurate to me because all those little kicks, jabs, and stretches i feel are coming out my right side and rib cage. however, there have been multiple mornings where she shifts her bum and back straight down my middle or over to the right, usually after i've been laying down, and then my belly is hilariously huge and crooked on the right side and flat on the left. i can tell she is much bigger and squished in there now and that's getting me anxious too!! i did have a few days of returned pregnancy nausea this week! what?! five months of feeling great, then i get whammied with puking every other hour? currently we are in my grandpa's truck until we get another vehicle bought from my uncle and i definitely puked all over it :( not fun. i did my best to clean up the inside, but left a lot of it because come one, who feels good enough after puking to ever clean up after themselves? my sweet sweet husband helped me out and cleaned the rest. man, i love that sweet man. when i'm sick, there's no one better in the world that i'd want taking care of me (besides maybe my mother... she is the best too). and i did get spoiled by my aunt becky who brought over sick-person groceries. man, i'm pretty lucky. anyway, no sign on whether it's staying or leaving at this point, but i'm hoping i won't have to endure nausea my last three weeks!!

I wish there was something else that I could do for you... Groceries for a sickly pregnant girl did not seem like much.
