zenna is two months!

zenna is two months!
her daddy has nicknamed her "pass around baby" because everywhere we go, EVERYONE wants a turn, and she is constantly being passed.
everywhere we go, complete strangers stop and compliment her. everyone always says how beautiful she is, and then love the name when we tell them it's zenna.
she is the first grandchild on both sides, so she is definitely spoiled and very, very loved.
some other nicknames we commonly use are "baby z", "little z", or simply "baby."
she was born brown, but is officially a white baby.
she LOVES baths. hot baths. with mama.
she is just starting to copy our facial expressions, mouth movements, and sounds. we love her coos.
she is a little bit stingy with her smiles, except right after waking up. definitely a morning child.
i love how her eyes disappear into moon-eyes when she smiles big!
she is a very good sleeper! three to four hour naps during the day and she only wakes up once or twice at night to eat, then immediately goes back to sleep.
lots of times, she doesn't want held anymore. after changing her diaper, i noticed she loves laying on her back and hanging out. now, we often just lay her on the floor with us and watch her kick and wiggle.
she hates being swaddled. she insists her hands are outside the blankets by her face. they usually feel cold. maybe she has mama's cold hands?
her hair is still growing. and it's curly when wet!
her eyes are looking more blue every day!
she is a binky baby, but when she's asleep, she spits it out and doesn't want it anymore. don't even try slipping it in again.
she loves to be facing forward with her back to your chest so she can see the world. she has always been super alert.
she no longer fits in newborn pajamas. she weighs 10 lbs 11 oz and grew two inches to be 23 inches!
she is happy, happy, happy, and as healthy as can be!
