one of the best parts of christmas is visiting salt lake with the babb family. going this weekend made for my third weekend in a row. drake worked all day saturday, so he didn't make it until the tail end, but my wonderful amazing daddy came and picked me up early. the day was spent shopping at cabelas, wearing the kiddos out at a children's museum in the gateway mall, visiting the temple lights, and finally eating at spaghetti factory. all wonderful babb family traditions.
the children's museum was awesome. even the big kids got into it and the youngsters ran themselves ragged.
then, even though i've been to temple square numerous times this year, my favorite time was with my family.
and then finally, the spaghetti factory with my favorite spinach tortellini and spumoni ice cream. i'm a happy, happy girl when we eat there! plus, bonus: drake showed up for the dinner! yay!
life is good.
update: tuesday was the annual mar vals temple square trip and since i have absolutely nothing to do this week, i was free and able to drive up to salt lake to watch jessica with my mom and bailey. as always, it was so much fun!
