disclaimer: this is mushy

i know i'm getting a little bit ridiculous .... two posts in one day? well one post took me several days of gathering photos and videos to compile, and had absolutely nothing to do with my sweet husband. but he deserves a whole post all to himself, and i'm in a writing mood tonight... so
disclaimer: this is mushy

currently, i am sitting outside by the pool at 9 pm. i am watching my husband play a game he made up in the pool all by himself. he's playing for chile. and also for argentina. yes, this is a legit face-off. and it's supposed to be played by two players, but since i've refused to get all chloriney tonight, he's handling it all by himself. i'm just sitting here thinking he's the cutest thing in the world. he's narrating out loud for me play-by-play action. full of cheering, near cussing, and point updates.
as of two seconds ago, it's 27-all :)
it really is adorable.
the game is similar to golf in scoring (the least points you have, the better). it involves throwing a torpedo rocket underwater through rings across the pool. the more throws it takes, the more points that start to rack up. the first team to 30 loses. i've played with him a couple times. i always lose. but it's something fun that we do.
chile just won. semifinals are set. chile vs. canada. and uruguay vs. the big u.s.
he really is commentating this every time he pops back up for air. and i can't get over how cute it is.

i'm just in a really lovey-dovey mood tonight. my apologies to anyone puking in their trash can right about now, but this is mostly for my own pleasurable purposes. i've mostly given up my hand-written journals. sure, i update them occasionally, but this is so much faster. i want to remember these days in the future :)
one reason i might be in a lovey-dovey mood is that when i got home from work tonight, the laundry was all folded or hung up, and the bed was made. i leave for work before drake does, so he's usually still in bed when i leave otherwise i'd like to make it every morning. if he's not too rushed, he usually does make it, but it's been a while :) i was very happy to notice that. then, i noticed the clothes i had already planned on hanging up after work, were already hung up. now that might be a first :) needless to say, i am being more and more spoiled every day.
i really do love my sweet husband. this past week i have suffered with a couple infections and ended up missing half a day of work because of some nausea from the antibiotics, but he was so thoughtful of me and did what he could to make me more comfortable. i really do love him with all my heart.
**canada keeps missing their opportunities- it's going to be hard for them to win now**
i love how fun he is. how he's always first to smile. the first to turn my frowns around. i love when he sings in the car to old songs. i love the goodbye kisses in the morning and hello-again-hugs after work. i love his thoughtfulness and his compassion. i love his masculinity and strong arms :) sometimes i still find myself in bewilderment that i'm living this love story i dreamed about when i was only 15-16 years old. it's really kinda amazing spending every day with my best friend.
