zenna passed her 18 month check up with flying colors!
she's 28 pounds, and off the charts height-wise (although i forgot her length) . . .
size five diapers are a little big, but she keeps getting more busy and skinny!
she's understanding so much we tell her and teach her, it's amazing.
she's memorized almost all farm animals and loves to pet any that will let her.
she does a lot of things for us like throwing things in the trash, getting a rag to wipe messes up with, puts the shoes in the shoebox, gets her own diapers when she needs changed, also finds her own shoes, and climbs into her high chair when she's asked when it's time to eat.
she also has learned how to fold her arms during prayer time, and she stays remarkably quiet and reverent during this time too (usually).
favorite movies: spirit and the little mermaid
or any other movie with a lot of music. she actually loves watching dancing with the stars with me.

she loves the wheels on the bus song and doing all the actions.
she loves to dance with me while we watch dancing with the stars and uses the word "dance" a lot.
she throws adorable tantrums that usually involves throwing things or slapping the floor/wall.
she still loves going to the park and has mastered the slide all by herself! the weather has been so nice that we've been able to go quite frequently.
her favorite foods are hot dogs, pastas, cereal, pancakes, corn, broccoli, cucumbers, and anything sweet :)
she talks all the time in her gibberish language and i will be so sad when she learns more real words, although i'll probably love that at the same time.
one person she always recognizes is jesus and it melts my heart. she truly acts like they are friends, and i love that.
she hates hates HATES when she knows her daddy is home but she can't find him because he's in the bathroom. she'll pound on the door and scream unconsolably until he returns.
also, don't even think about leaving without a wave and kiss goodbye. if you do that, she's okay that you're leaving, but if you try to skip out on the proper goodbyes, she'll make quite a scene.
she is truly an affectionate, loving personality. she gives so many cuddles, kisses, hugs, and "soft" rubs.
she has a spunky sense of humor and charm she can immediately turn on when she is getting in trouble. it's a cheesy grin and a big hug and lots of kisses. it's hard to be mad at that.
and have i mentioned how much she LOVES babies?
we spent an afternoon with aubrey and vanessa, and she couldn't leave the poor girl alone.
she wanted to constantly hug her, feed her puffs, take her toys and then force her to play with them too, push her over, lift her up, or console her crying. it was adorable, but i'm a little scared for how much help she'll want to be with her little sister. . . .
