zenna 12-15 months

zenna is learning and growing so fast these days. her personality increases constantly and it is so fun to watch her mastering life. she's an absolute angel- easygoing, good-natured, and hilarious. 

she understands so many phrases like "Bath-time, let's go to the tub!" 

and "Are you hungry?" when she leads you straight to the fridge

and "Can you dance?"

and "Be nice!" or "Be soft!" or "Say sorry!" in which she always kisses you better with a following hug

her newest word makes my heart melt: "baby"

she recognizes babies on the tv, phone screen, or diaper box. she gets so excited to see a baby anywhere and she has about five that are constantly being held around the house

she is going to be so excited when there's a real baby around all the time 

she loves to brush her teeth and hair

she loves to be a helper. if i'm cooking in the kitchen, she needs to be right next to me on the counter or a chair 

if i'm doing laundry, she's bringing me clothes or tearing down piles. such a helper. 

if i'm unloading the dishwasher, she climbs inside! 

she goes down for her one afternoon nap pretty easily. as long as someone is laying there with her, she'll knock out in five minutes. 

she also goes to sleep at night really easily. (this is a blessing for a tired mommy!) 

she slept in her own bed ALL THROUGH the night - once. she usually starts in her bed, then makes a move back into bed with us before morning. 

she loves to eat anything sweet. yeah, she's got a definite sweet tooth. 

she also loves bananas, oranges, apple slices with peanut butter, corn, peas, any kind of pasta (tuna helper, spaghetti, alfredo), hot dogs, and pizza. 

she also loves keeping her sippy cup of milk with her all the time. 

she brings her shoes to us and begs to go outside, so we try to take a walk down to the park whenever the weather is nice enough. 

she loves copying everyone around her. when drake works out in the front room, she imitates everything he's doing - and it's hilarious. her push-ups involve bending over and touching her nose to the floor over and over again. she's mastered squats, and it's adorably perfect form. 

she loves any sort of music and dancing along. we do this a lot. 

she's still size four diapers, and last weighed in at 28.8 pounds. 

i love this girl!
