time sure seems to be flying by! Zenna is continuing to grow like a weed, and of course she's getting cuter every day! some new things with us are:
she is 20 pounds!
she is very aware of when you leave her eye-sight. she doesn't like to be alone.
she discovered her toes a while ago, but now they're especially fun.
she's sitting up! yes, 60% might be due to the gravitational force of all her chub, but she still corrects herself sometimes when she starts leaning. she can stay sitting for a long time!
she much prefers to be sitting up and looking at the world. even when she's eating a bottle, don't even think about laying her down for it.
she loves peek-a-boo, especially if someone is running at her from far away.
she's very generous with her smiles and laughter. i can't get enough of that!
she spends a lot of time with daddy right now, and i can already see that daddy-daughter bond growing and growing. when we're in a group, her eyes most often search for Drake, and i swear she saves her biggest grins for him.
we are still nursing and supplementing with formula in between, but now we've started rice cereal and oh boy- she loves it. i tried it a few weeks ago and she didn't seem very interested, but now she loves it!
her favorites toys are her two fingers to munch on, and the binky.
we also love story time.
she absolutely has a sweet personality. she doesn't fuss just to make noise, there's always a reason, and she generally is smiley and happy. we love that about her!
