life continues to fly by for us- we can't believe it's already february! we've done really great so far in achieving our goal and not missing FHE. this past week we included dassia, and went to her apartment and participated in her lesson. then, we went to the hot tubs at her complex and enjoyed the steaming water. drake doesn't like it quite as much as zenna and i do, but he tagged along anyway, and i think we all had a blast. he was brave enough to snap some pictures while we were there and they turned out so dang cute! we'll definitely have to do this again! 
we also had some great news and a blessing fall into our laps! my best friend kendall's school decided to hire a classroom aide for her assistance. she dropped them my name and number, they called me and offered me a position, and i literally started the very next day! now i can expect to be working 10 extremely flexible hours every week doing what i love with someone i love! it's exciting to be able to have this opportunity. not only did they hire me, they went as far as asking BYU if i could switch my practicum cohort to alpine school district and work in their school this year for my K-2 practicum instead of commuting from nebo to alpine every day. i was concerned this wouldn't work out, but everyone gave them the go-ahead and now i'll be teaching in the alpine practicum as well as working there! so many blessings!
we also got the chance to go to a BYU basketball game (GO COUGS!) and that was a lot of fun. we invited The Marrieds and all 10 of us (12 including our two babies, 14 including the other two babies still cooking) were able to go together and have a great time! we'll be sad when people start moving away this year! we love making all these fun memories!
