january 26 concluded a great weekend for us.
one of our family goals was to take stroller strolls together more. so on saturday, we did it! it's been really sunny lately and we took advantage by walking down to the BYU creamery and getting lunch. (plug for the creamery: $3.80 kids meal gets you a cheeseburger, fries, drink, and ice cream)
we decked zenna out in her snowsuit that still drowns her and an adorable beanie. she must have felt pretty comfortable because she immediately fell asleep in the stroller on the way down. she was adorable! i love that girl more and more every day!
we also had to move our personal family home evenings to thursday instead of monday because drake's work interferes. so for thursday, we focused on tithing and "no excuses!" because we're at that point where we have to be really careful with our income. but we've set the goal to pay tithing first, no matter what, and the lesson was meant to reinforce our goal. the activity was something fun we haven't done before, but we'll for sure do again. we each made our own personal pizzas! just typical pepperoni pizzas, but definitely better than the cheap frozen ones we eat way too much. even though zenna can't enjoy pizza yet, we think she had fun too. life is good in our little family!
