it's summertime 2014

school is absolutely jam-packing my life right now. i am working hard to not get behind, but sometimes that's a little difficult with a baby and husband that works most evenings. so i do my best and try to keep a good perspective.
we spend a lot of time outside on the grass, and that seem to keep zenna happier most of the time!
drake and i took zenna on a stroller stroll this past week and we walked up to the provo temple. it was a beautiful day and zenna loved the change of scenery. we got lots of beautiful pictures with the pretty flowers and fountain. i was really feeling lucky for my life on that little walk.
one thing that i've done is buy the Pass of All Passes which was only $33 and now gives me unlimited access to seven peaks water park, trafalga (a activity center with gokart racing and mini golf), and various sporting events around the provo area. our good friend hanna also has a pass and that means that hopefully we'll spend quite a few summer days at the pool. it's perfect for us because we both have small babies and don't want to stay at a pool for more than a few hours, but it's not a waste of money to only be there two hours. we took our first trip this weekend and i think it was a pretty great success! rj really does like zenna, it was just close to nap time :)

then that same evening, drake and i went to a salt lake bees game with some other friends. it was so much fun to sit out on the grass and enjoy some good baseball. the boys were happy, and the girls were happy too! can't beat that! zenna was such a happy baby the whole day and she finally crashed around 9:00 and slept on our blanket.
the summer happiness continued the next day when we went to provo recreation center (for $5) and played in their indoor/outdoor pool. we're considered getting a year pass to this place too! there is a workout gym, lap pool, indoor pool with a kids gym, outdoor pool with a kids gym, tons of big slides, and rock climbing (those are the places i'm aware of!). both baby and mommy are ready for big naps this afternoon!
