labor day weekend

it's always weird to me how our summer break ends, we get one week of school, then wham! there's a holiday and we get a day off of school... this year, drake and i decided to head home for the weekend. it would be good getting that family time in that we haven't been able to get too much of since we've been married. first we headed to the Southeastern Idaho State Fair in blackfoot to watch josey ride max in her 4-H competition. she was so excited, it was awesome. i always took that experience for granted and now i'm missing it like crazy! anyway... josey looked awesome!

i was happy to be back at the fair eating candied apples and tiger ears, fighting through the crowds of people and walking around the booths.

drake was obviously excited too ;)

after being at the fair, we rushed to pocatello to watch caden play football. now this, drake was excited for. i could just see him itching to play or help coach with his dad and brother. it was really great spending time with the family like that. we do miss everyone a lot!

then, we headed back to work and school to continue the grind. i'm already missing everyone again!
