temple pics & independence

we were super privileged to make some good friends... for about a month before they moved away to the grand cayman islands (yeah, we're totally jealous!). but it was nice to get together with some people our own age and do some date nights. this was our fourth of july celebration. we went up on a hillside and got a good view of fireworks everywhere in vegas. we also lit off a few dinky fireworks ourselves.

 it was really cool how well we got along with ryan and timmeri.  they boys talked sports... and the girls did hair :)

we had bbqs together, played phase 10, made up our own version of swimming pool baseball, went to 51s baseball games, and concocted amazing pancakes w/ peanut butter chips. we're sad to have them gone, but confident we'll keep in touch.
